This will just be a short update. We're slowly moving closer to finalizing the adoption. We're waiting on the paperwork to all be filed with the state for various issues, then we turn it all over to the lawyer. We optimisticly hoping that it will sometime in early August.

Haley is doing well. She's able to pull herself to standing when she's sitting in front of the couch, as long as she's enticed by something on the couch. She then commences to drool all over the couch. She's also added "ba-ba-ba" to her vocal repertoire. If nothing else, she'll be able to sing backup on "Ba-ba Black Sheep".

We're in the middle of a short heat wave. Eighty-five degrees wouldn't normally be such a big deal, but since homes here don't usually have air conditioners... Kelsee gets to really see how Haley tolerates being hot.

Jason's heading to Indianapolis to participate in some HD research. He's glad to be helping, but sad to leave his girls. He's trying to annoy Kelsee as much as possible so she won't miss him too much.
